Dr. Tom Rosanelli, M.D. is a highly respected hair restoration physician who has performed over 10,000 successful hair transplant procedures throughout his career.
At Skin & Strand, Dr. Rosanelli leads our FUE hair restoration team with a focus on precision, natural-looking results, and personalized patient care.
He is a Past President of the American Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ASHRS) and a Founding Member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), reflecting his longstanding leadership and contributions to the field of hair restoration.
Dr. Rosanelli is also recognized internationally for helping train physicians in advanced FUE hair restoration techniques and modern hair restoration technologies.
Known for his meticulous approach and patient-first philosophy, he believes every patient should be treated with honesty, care, and attention to detail throughout their hair restoration journey.
Kurtis M. Opp, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
Kurtis M. Opp is a certified physician assistant with more than 35 years of clinical experience. Before becoming a Physician Associate , he worked for a decade as a respiratory therapist and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from San Francisco State University. He later completed Stanford University’s Primary Care Associate Program, graduating with honors in 1991.
After beginning his PA career in cardiac surgery, urgent care, and occupational medicine, Kurtis transitioned into dermatology at UCSF, where he worked alongside Professor Marcus Conant, M.D. His dermatology training and clinical work with Dr. Conant spanned ten years.
Kurtis is a co-founder and former president of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. He has also serves on the steering committee of the San Francisco Bay Area Physician Assistants and founded the Dermatology PA Journal Club .
